Week 480

Positive Post Sunday, May 10, 2026…. Week 480. Following my retirement, Michele and I began attending daily morning Mass once a week. This simple practice has become a beautiful infusion of grace into my life. It has deepened my spirituality in ways I didn’t expect, grounding my days with a renewed sense of purpose and peace.

At a recent Monday morning Mass, the Gospel from Luke 6:36–38 resonated deeply within me: “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”

These words felt like both a challenge and an invitation, a reminder that our spiritual lives are built not on grand gestures but on daily choices of mercy, forgiveness, generosity, and humility. As I continue this new chapter in my life, I’m grateful for how God uses even a single weekday Mass to strengthen my heart and guide my steps toward Him.

How will you shift from judgement to compassion and understanding?

How do you welcome God into your daily life, seeking his guidance on your faith journey?
