Week 86
Positive post Sunday, October 7, 2018- Week 86.
One of the privileges we have as American citizens it to vote, yet according to the Public Policy Institute of California and the Secretary of State, only 73% of eligible adults are currently registered to vote and in the 2014 general election only 42% of those registered actually voted.
Perhaps some have forgotten that people have died for our right to vote and that those who we elect make significant and important decisions that impact our lives. Many people around the world don’t have this privilege and envy our ability to vote freely.
Well, we have another midterm election coming up in just one month, so remember to vote on November 6th. And for those of you who live in Redlands Unified School District area 2, remember to vote for Michele Rendler for School Board!!
