Week 59
Positive post Sunday, April 1, 2018- Week 59.
Alleluia, He is risen! Happy Easter. I haven’t been to the movie theatre in over 10 years until Good Friday. We took the kids to see I Can Only Imagine. This is an amazing movie based on a true story about the transformation of an abusive father to a man of God and the journey of his son while following his dream. The song writer, Bart Marshall Millard, said it only took him10 minutes to write the song, but many would argue that it took a lifetime. This song has helped numerous people through very difficult times in their lives, especially when loosing loved ones. As Bart learned, facing your pain can be the path to achieving your deepest dreams and peace. Watch the movie and you’ll understand.
On a personal note, this movie and song reminded me of how blessed I have been to be raised in a home of faith and love with a father, Kenneth Fredrick Rendler, who during my entire lifetime has always been a man of God and with a mother, Dana Louise Rendler, who is the foundation of our faith. I thank the good Lord each day for allowing me the privilege and honor to still have them both in my life today. I Can ”NOT” Imagine my life without them and the positive influence they continue to have on our entire family.
