Week 473

Positive Post Sunday, March 22, 2026…. Week 473.  A Christian is one who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and entrusts their life to His saving grace. Yet it is more than a title or a tradition. It is the quiet, daily decision to follow Him as Lord, to step into the lifelong work of becoming His apprentice. It is learning to let His teachings shape our thoughts, His compassion guide our actions, and His love form the very way we move through the world.

As Christians, we are invited to walk in relationship with Christ, not at a distance but heart‑to‑heart, through prayer, surrender, and the ongoing conversion that slowly bends our souls towards God. It is a life marked by love of God and neighbor, by forgiveness offered and received, and by service that reflects the heart of our Lord.

As written in Matthew 28:20 – Jesus promises, “… And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”, a Christian does not walk alone, but as part of the Body of Christ, journeying with others who are also learning the way. And through it all, the Holy Spirit is at work, forming, refining, correcting, renewing, shaping us not into perfection, but into people who more clearly bear the likeness of Jesus.

In the end, a Christian is simply an ordinary person who has said “yes” to an extraordinary invitation: to learn from Christ, to live in Christ, and to become like Christ, one surrendered step at a time.

How are you a part of the Body of Christ?

How have you accepted the extraordinary invitation from our Lord and acted accordingly?
