Week 47

Positive post Sunday, January 7, 2018- Week 47.

As promised, this week’s post is focused on the second leg of the Triangle of Life, Family. As I continue to grow older and experience the many special and challenging moments in life, the material things become less important to me and time, especially time with family, becomes more precious.

Like our parents, Michele Lomen Rendler and I have tried to pass down and create traditions for our children and their families. For example, family vacations at Campland and on Balboa Island, celebrating and decorating for the holidays together and going to Mass to name a few. One of the traditions I am most proud of is serving others. It is my belief that serving others is part of our faith and strengthens and unites our family. It also helps us appreciate all that we have and our many blessings. That’s why, in honor of my parents, Dana and Ken Rendler, I created the Rendler Family Foundation.

My parents are terrific role models for all of us and have lived their entire lives serving others and now we have a foundation and vehicle to carry on our family name and our tradition of serving others for generations to come. It is my vision and hope that all our children will carry the Foundation forward, growing it beyond our imagination to serve others.
