Week 423
Positive Post Sunday, April 6, 2025…. Week 423. I recently heard it said that the Holy Trinity is Father, Son and Holy Spirit not Me, Myself and I.
What a striking and thought-provoking way to put it! The Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—reminds us of the divine relationship at the core of my Christian belief. It’s a beautiful example of unity, love, and selflessness, standing in stark contrast to the isolation and self-focus of “Me, Myself, and I.” This perspective calls us to see beyond ourselves and live in connection, humility, and service, reflecting the example set by the Holy Trinity.
My faith is about God and my relationship with Him, not about me. This kind of faith shifts the focus entirely to God’s greatness, His grace, and His divine plan, rather than centering on personal wants or achievements. It’s about honoring Him, trusting in His wisdom, and seeking to glorify Him through our actions and choices. This selfless approach creates a deeper connection, one that’s rooted in humility and reverence.
Here’s the disclaimer, I am still work in progress, as like all of us, I am a sinner. Continuing to strive to place God in the forefront of all I do is my North Star. Like the actual North Star (Polaris) has historically helped travelers navigate, staying focused on the Holy Trinity keeps me grounded and guides me as I continue my faith journey. Keeping God as my North Star brings clarity, purpose, and strength, even in the most challenging of times.
How can this understanding of the Trinity and your relationship with God shape your faith journey and influence your daily life?
How do your actions and choices glorify God?
