Week 390

Positive post Sunday, August 18, 2024…. Week 390.  As I was thinking about my PPS for this week, I came across a quote that caught my attention, “The man I prayed for is now the man I pray with”.  I can’t recall where I saw or heard it so unfortunately, I can’t give credit to the author.  Well, let me create my own quote, “The woman I prayed for has been the woman I have prayed with for over 40 years”.  You may have a similar quote for yourself, just insert the number of years!  Michele and I have been so blessed to have our faith as the foundation of our relationship which has been instrumental in our success in celebrating the thrill of our victories and managing through the agony of our defeats (a reference to NBC’s Wild World of Sports that often covered the Olympics since we just finished the summer games😊).  Here’s the link for those that have not seen it https://youtu.be/w1FWG0WziRU.

It’s amazing how prayer can transform relationships, bringing partners closer together and fostering a deeper spiritual bond.  When two hearts align in both prayer and life goals, their bond deepens, and they become each other’s pillars of strength.  The power of shared faith and the deep connection that can grow in a relationship reminds me of how important it is to have a partner who shares your spiritual journey.
