Week 388
Positive post Sunday, August 4, 2024…. Week 388. As I was writing this PPS, I started thinking about why I started writing them 388 weeks ago and who has influenced me along the way (see Positive post Sunday, February 19, 2023…. Week 312). Then I recalled something my brother in Christ, founder of Bridge of Grace (www.BridgeofGrace.org), author of Jeremiah’s Angel, and writing coach Jay McCall, said to me one day. Jay said, “We’re not the ones writing, He is”.
This simple yet powerful statement reminded me of how important it is for me to listen to our Lord throughout the week and open my heart and mind as He guides me when writing my PPS articles. You may be familiar with Carrie Underwood’s song, Jesus, Take the Wheel. For me it’s, Jesus, Take the Keyboard, and He has for the past 388 weeks, guiding me on what has been an amazing journey. When I write, God is my influencer and bios.
So, each Sunday as I type away on my keyboard, I’m reminded that I’m writing with divine influence. My posts are more than words, they’re inspired by our Lord and are bridges between the earthly and the ethereal. As I continue to deepen my faith and spirituality, I tap into something greater than myself, a divine inspiration that flows through my words. It’s hard to explain, but as I write I feel an inner peace as I strive to be a channel for grace, hope, and healing. I express my faith by listening to our Lord and writing about how He guides me throughout my daily life experiences. I invite others (YOU) to walk alongside me on this beautiful journey of faith.
