Week 320

Positive post Sunday, April 16, 2023- Week 320. 

Looking for some good wholesome family movies?  Look no more.  Pure Flix is filled with positive entertainment that can change lives while inspiring hearts.  I have a running list of thoughtful and inspiring movies I have watched on Pure Flix including “The Chosen”, “The Girl Who Believes in Miracles”, and “Running the Bases” to name just a few.

Most recently, Michele and I watched the movie series “A Thousand Tomorrows” on Pure Flix.  Christian author Karen Kingsbury, known for books like “Forever Faithful” and “Two Weeks,” created the series based on her bestselling novel with the same title.  A Thousand Tomorrows is a story of faith, forgiveness and unending love gained while navigating through life’s challenges.  A reminder to us all to find that greater love in our lives.  Watch the series and you will understand!

A Thousand Tomorrows reminds us that only God knows how many tomorrows we will have together here on earth, but those who believe in God and have faith, know that we will have forever tomorrows in eternal life.  During one of the episodes in the series, Ali, one of the main characters who was dying from cystic fibrosis, tried to comfort her newlywed husband, tough bull rider Cody, by sharing her unwavering faith.  When asked what makes her believe, and how she knows it’s real, she responds, “Peace, He came to give us peace”.  Ali gave Cody the greatest gift one human being can give another, “Faith”.  She also let him know that she believed there is a window in Heaven, and she would be looking down upon him.

With God’s guidance once again influencing my writing, I wrote my last 2 positive posts about my life goal of getting to Heaven, and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus.  Reflecting on these posts and the thought of a window in Heaven made me think about all our loved ones who have gone before us and if there is a window in Heaven and they’re looking down on us, what would they see?
