Week 297
Positive post Sunday, October 30, 2022- Week 297.
Appreciation is defined as the act of recognizing or understanding that something or someone is valuable and important, and a common definition of gratitude is the quality of being thankful and the readiness to show appreciation and to return kindness. And that’s exactly what Michele and I did this past week, we showed our appreciation and gratitude for those who have supported Michele over the past 3 years as she served our community as a member of the RUSD School Board.
Being blessed that Michele has run unopposed for this next four-year term, we hosted an “Appreciation dinner” at the beautifully restored Barton House to thank those who have supported Michele and our schools. We are truly grateful for your support and friendships. Thank you, Dr. Terry and Geneil Vines, for sharing this jewel in our community that you have so thoughtfully restored, you are true servant leaders, and we are grateful for all you do in our community.
My prayers are with Michele and all the RUSD School Board members and all those who actively support our schools and students, especially the teachers, administrators, classified employees, parents and guardians. Please know that your hard work and dedication, especially through these most challenging times, is valued and appreciated. I pray that you lead with your hearts, act in good faith and remain focused on the safety and development of our students.
How have you shown your gratitude to those that have supported you throughout your life?
How do you include appreciation and thankfulness in your daily prayers?
