Week 428
Positive Post Sunday, May 11, 2025…. Week 428. We held our 2nd Bridge of Grace event this past Friday, May 9th at MorningStar Senior Living in Idaho (see photos attached). My experience seeing the joys of seniors and the students from the Idaho Fine Arts Academy Home | Idaho Fine Arts Academy engage in meaningful ways inspired me to write the following PPS on the value and importance of volunteerism. Here’s the link to Bridge of Grace: Home – Bridge of Grace.
Our communities are built not just on infrastructure and institutions, but on the kindness, generosity, and dedication of those who choose to serve. Without volunteers and generous donors, many essential services, programs, and support systems simply would not exist.
Volunteering is more than an act of service—it is a commitment to uplifting others, to strengthening our neighborhoods, and to fostering a spirit of unity and compassion. Every time someone offers their time, talent, or treasure, they become a beacon of hope for those in need. Whether starting a nonprofit focused on connecting youth and seniors, mentoring a child, assisting at a food bank, advocating for the underserved, or contributing financially to a cause, each effort makes a profound difference.
Community service is the heart of a thriving society. It teaches us empathy, deepens our connections, and reminds us that even small actions can lead to meaningful change. It is through this spirit of generosity that we create a more inclusive, supportive, and compassionate world.
To those who give so selflessly, thank you. Your efforts shape lives, inspire hearts, and ensure that no one is left behind. May we all continue to find ways to serve, to give, and to build a better future together.
How have you made a difference in your community?
How have you served others?
