Positive Post Sunday, May 7, 2017-Week 12.
This is the perfect post for this week for so many reasons. Here are a few. Today is the final day of the Redlands Bicycle Classic and there are so many people who have inspired me again this year. First, the leadership and committee members of the RBC have my deepest respect. Their passion for the event, commitment to community service and generous contributions of their time and talent is second to None. The professional cyclists and RBC liaisons who completed 36 school visits across 3 school districts inspiring over 12,000 students from kindergarten to 8th grade. The para-cyclists like my friend Dele Dunstoni and all my friends at PossAbilities who are living proof that athletes of all abilities can succeed at the highest level, bringing hope and purpose to so many Lives. There are many many more examples…….. The reach and impact of this important community event over the past 33 years is beyond comprehension or expression. There Are so many stories and life changing experiences resulting from the rich history of the RBC. To all my friends and family who make the RBC happen each year, you inspire me and so many more people, many you will never even meet! “The Redlands Bicycle Classic is far more than just a bike race”.
