Week 354
Positive post Sunday, December 10, 2023- Week 354.
While writing a text earlier in the week, I was completing a sentence and it was autocorrected, changing “no” to “know”. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but as I was finishing my text, it occurred to me that perhaps this was not by chance and there was a message for me in this change.
I started thinking about the many times in my life when I have led with no, “no, you can’t do that”, “no, that won’t work”, “no, I don’t have money”, “no, I don’t have time”, and the list goes on. Then I started reflecting on where I have missed opportunities to seek KNOWledge and understanding, (replacing no with know), listening and learning with an open mind, heart and soul. I wonder how many times I would have experienced a more positive and uplifting outcome?
Looking forward, I see many opportunities in my life to lead with seeking KNOWledge and understanding rather than taking the quicker and easier route of simply saying no.
We live in a very diverse and complicated world, and I’m so grateful and blessed to have a strong foundation of faith. That being said, with the guidance of our good Lord, I see significant opportunity to grow, both personally and spiritually. I look forward to exploring ways I can deepen my faith and expand my service to others by replacing no with know. By pursuing KNOWledge rather than simply saying no, new doors will open, and my life will be filled with more love and kindness.
