Week 114
Positive post Sunday, April 21, 2019- Week 114.
Happy Easter! He has risen, Alleluia Alleluia. I started my positive post Sundays at the beginning of Lent in 2017 because I felt social media needed an infusion of positive, thoughtful and uplifting messaging. Candidly, I was tired of reading all the negative and politically charged messages that often left me depressed and empty. My intent was to just post during Lent but motivated by feedback and encouragement I received from many friends and family, I just kept posting, and here I am 114 weeks later and still enjoying writing.
If you observe Lent and chose to do something positive rather than give something up, I encourage you to continue. Even if you don’t observe Lent or celebrate Easter, there are many opportunities and an enormous need for more positive acts of kindness in our everchanging and complex world. Even the simplest or smallest good deed can make a world of difference to someone in need. If you have benefited from my positive post Sundays, I ask that you pay it forward by sharing your blessings with others. I’m certain you will find it as uplifting as I have over these past 114 weeks.
