Week 51
Positive post Sunday, February 4, 2018- Week 51.
Today is Super Bowl Sunday and many people will be enjoying family and friends, having parties, overeating and drinking and may even watch the game, or at least the commercials. I prefer to look behind (or beyond) all the hype, media and politics and find those gems or special, meaningful stories or experiences.
I encourage you to take 10 minutes out of your busy and entertaining day today and watch this video. Politics and sports aside, this is about human kindness and making a difference in the lives of others. I’m not an Eagles or Patriots fan, but I am a huge fan of community service and support. Way to go Carson Wentz, you have clearly made a positive impact on the lives of the Dutch Destroyer (RIP) and his family and friends. Lukas’ family and friends will be watching the game today with a heavy heart but in peace thanks to your support. This is a reminder to all of us that life can be fragile and shouldn’t be taken for granted. Love your family while you have them.
