Week 463

Positive Post Sunday, January 11, 2026…. Week 463.  With football playoffs in full swing, and as fans cheer for their favorite teams, God invites us to look at the team that matters most—our family.

A family is God’s first and most sacred team—no superstars, no benchwarmers, just people who love one another and give their best for the good of the whole. And the perfect model of this team is the Holy Family. Mary, Joseph, and Jesus didn’t seek attention or glory; they lived in quiet faithfulness, each embracing their God‑given role with humility, trust, and love. In God’s team, no one plays for personal recognition; each person plays for something far greater: unity, holiness, and the mission entrusted to them.

Like a well‑coached football team, a family wins when everyone knows their role, trusts one another, and steps in to help when someone is tired, hurting, or carrying more than their share. Victory doesn’t come from one dazzling play but from countless small acts of service, forgiveness, and encouragement that move the family steadily down the field. When a family works together in faith—praying together, supporting one another, and keeping Jesus at the center—they discover that the real win isn’t a trophy, but a life lived in love, strengthened by grace, and rooted in God’s purpose.

What role do you play on your family team, God’s team?

How does your family work together in faith, giving God all the glory?
