Week 455
Positive Post Sunday, November 16, 2025…. Week 455. Shortly after writing Positive Post Sunday, September 21, 2025…. Week 447 about “Truth”, I turned on my favorite radio station KSGN, and (not by coincidence) Megan Woods’ song, “The Truth” began to play. Thank you, Lord, for sending me yet another reminder that Truth is the anchor that steadies the soul, especially when lies swirl like a storm.
Megan Woods’ song poignantly asks, “How many times can you hear the same lie before you start to believe it?”, a haunting reminder of how repetition can erode identity. In a world saturated with noise and deception, Woods’ lyrics expose the subtle power of falsehoods to distort self-worth and divine belonging.
Her song becomes a spiritual declaration, reclaiming truth not as an abstract ideal but as a personal inheritance: “The truth is I am my Father’s child… I don’t belong to the lies; I belong to You.” This contrast between the enemy’s whispers and God’s affirming voice invites us to examine the narratives we’ve internalized. Truth, then, is not just factual accuracy, it’s a lifeline to identity, love, and purpose. And when lies begin to sound familiar, it’s truth that must be spoken louder, clearer, and more often.
How do you look deeper into what appear to be coincidences in your life to see or hear God communicating with you?
How do you live your life as our Father’s child, belonging to Him not the many lies we encounter each day?
