Week 452
Positive Post Sunday, October 26, 2025…. Week 452. You’ve likely heard the saying, “You are what you eat,” a reminder that our physical health is shaped by the nourishment we choose. But this truth extends far beyond the dinner plate. One could just as easily say, “You are what you read, what you watch, and what you believe,” because our minds and spirits are fed by the stories we consume, the voices we listen to, and the convictions we hold.
Just as a steady diet of junk food can weaken the body, a steady stream of negativity, shallow entertainment, or falsehoods can dull the soul. Conversely, when we fill our lives with wisdom, beauty, and truth, whether through books, films, or faith, we cultivate a deeper, more vibrant self. In every choice of input, we are shaping the person we’re becoming. This is exactly why on Sunday, February 17, 2017, as part of my Lenten journey, I began writing positive, often spiritual based, posts to nourish my soul, and the souls of those who choose to read them.
